67. Alteraciones dentomaxilares y orofuncionales del sistema estomatognático
Resumen:
El siguiente trabajo tratará de abordar todas las alteraciones dentomaxilares y orofuncionales del sistema estomatognático; alteraciones que requieren de la aplicación de procesos odontológicos (como la ortodoncia) y de una necesaria reeducación conjunta.
Se abordaran las patologías comunes entre logopedas y odontólogos en dos direcciones: de estructura a función [E-F](cuando la estructura dentomaxilar esté alterada afectará a la función orofacial) y de función a estructura [F-E] (cuando la función orofacial esté alterada afectará a la estructura dentomaxilar);
Demostrando así que el
papel del odontólogo especialista en ortodoncia
y el papel del logopeda especialista
en terapia miofuncional son totalmente
complementarios y necesarios en la corrección
ortodóntica de estructuras y de su
reeducación logopédica funcional respectivamente
Abstract
The aim of this thesis will be to examine all dental-maxillary and orofunctional alterations of stomatognatic system; disorders requiring the application of dental processes (such as orthodontics) and a necessary reeducation process joint.
We will study common diseases among speech therapists and dentists in two directions: from structure to function [S–F] (when the structure is altered dentalmaxillary affect orofacial function) and from function to structure [F-S] (when the function is altered orofacial structure affect dental-maxillary);
Demonstrating that the
role of the dentist specialized in orthodontics
and the role of speech-langue therapist
specialized in myofunctional therapy is
complementary and necessary for correction
and functional re-education respectively.
