41. Intervención fonoaudiologica en el traumatismo maxilofacial y de cuello
Resumen:
Dentro de nuestro quehacer en Comunicación humana, con frecuencia nos
encontramos con algunos trastornos causados por un trauma maxilofacial y/o de cuello
o por las secuelas por no haberse realizado una pronta intervención. Por ello la
Fonoaudiología implementa periódicamente más estudios sobre la motricidad orofacial
y su afectación en el habla y la voz.
“Cuando nuestro paciente llega a urgencias y es valorado por los médicos, debe ser visto por el Fonoaudiólogo una vez termine de ser estabilizado. Es importante esta primera evaluación para tomar una acción pronta que evite secuelas, atrofias, alteraciones de tono, acortamientos musculares, mal posiciones deglutorias, entre otras.”
Para poder entender las complicaciones en Comunicación es importante que se analicen los traumatismos y su afectación tanto anatómica como funcional.
Abstract:
Inside our occupation in human Communication, often we meet some disorders caused by a trauma maxillofacial and / or of neck or for the sequels for a prompt intervention not having been realized. For it the Speech Therapy implements periodically more studies on the orofacial motor functions and your affectation in the speech and the voice.
When our patient comes to urgencies and is valued by the doctors, debit to be seen by the Speech and language therapist once stops being stabilized. The first evaluation is important this to take a prompt action that avoids sequels, atrophies, alterations of tone, muscular shortenings, badly positions in swallowing, between others. "
To be able to understand the complications in Communication is important that there are analyzed the traumatism and your both anatomical and functional affectation.
